My name’s Alton and I’m a sophomore at Wesleyan University, class of 2016, majoring in both Government and Sociology.

I am a first generation Taiwanese/Chinese American born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, and am very passionate on issues surrounding the Asian Pacific American (APA) community.

I previously served as the chair of the Community Committee of the Wesleyan Student Assembly. On the WSA, I worked on community outreach, technology, and issues of diversity on campus, as well as spearheaded the effort to bring OrgSync to Wesleyan.

Outside of my academic work, I am interested in politics, technology, web/graphic design and advertising, as well as the points where these areas intersect.
